MELAMINE
Product characteristic:
Melamine – C3H6N6 is a product in form of white powder received in two stages process of thermal decomposition of urea to isocyanic acid with the following catalytic conversion to melamine or in the process of high-pressure conversion without the use of catalyst. Melamine is a nontoxic and incombustible product.

Transportation:
Melamine should be transported by any covered means of transport and protected against moisture.
Usage:
Melamine is used for production of wide range of synthetic resins which are applicable in the production process of deco laminate, woodenlike boards, glues, paints and varnishes including stove-varnish also for the motor industry, subsidiary measures for the textile and paper industries and also plastics electro-technical industry and production of household items. Melamine is also used for the production of fireproofing agents and for concrete modification.
Storing Conditions:
Melamine needs to be stored in covered places and requires protection against moisture.
Precautions:
Melamine is non-toxic, incombustible, does not form explosive mixture with the air. While working with melamine hand gloves and anti-dust masks. In case of excessive dustiness goggles should be used.
