The Supervisory Board Appointed the President of the Company’s Management Board

Today, the Supervisory Board of Zakłady Azotowe Puławy Spółka Akcyjna appointed Mr Paweł Jarczewski as President of the Company’s Management Board. The new President was appointed with effect from April 1st 2008 for a joint term of office of the Management Board ending on November 16th 2009.

Mr Jarczewski was appointed following a selection procedure carried out to fill the vacancy which arose after the removal of Mr Krzysztof Lewicki, former President of the Management Board. Until the beginning of the term of office, the activities of the three-member Management Board will be coordinated by Mr Lech Kliza.

As of April 1st 2008, the Company’s Management Board will be composed of the following four members: Paweł Jarczewski – President of the Management Board
Lech Kliza – Member of the Management Board
Lech Schimmelpfennig – Member of the Management Board
Mieczysław Wiejak – Member of the Management Board

Paweł Jarczewski

• graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Faculty of Foreign Trade, majoring in foreign trade economics and organisation
• Completed courses, including post-graduate courses:
  - course for candidates for members of supervisory boards at state-owned companies;
  - training courses in marketing and foreign trade;
  - several language courses.
• Professional career:
  2007 – present – Development Director at CTL Logistics S.A.;
  2007 – self-employed;
  2002 – 2006 – CCO at Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A.;
  1999 – 2002 – Manager of the Investment Procurement Department at Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A.;
  1992 – 1999 – Head of the Acquisition and Coordination Team, Senior Sales Specialist, Assistant to General Designer of Export Installation at PROZAP Sp. z o.o.
